Formosa Oolong Tea

The coarse and large leaves of this superior Yu Lan Xiang-Style are a ‘Champagne of the China Teas’. This tea was accidentally discovered to be pierced by the Green Leaf Hooper in early summer. The leaf delivers an exceptional fruity, yet elegant floral aroma, with an intense, complex flavor, and a rich finish of honey and ripe peaches.
A gentle steaming and semi-fermentation process (approx. 18%) of this precious tea allows the external part of the leaf to ferment without changing its cores chemistry significantly. Light, amber-colored infusion.
