Chunky Sumac

Our new “CHUNKY” Sumac is cured dry in coarse reddish flakes.  Its pleasant blend of sour, sweet and bitter flavors has been one of the underrated spices in the pantry. You can add it to yogurt for a dip, rub it on grilled fish or just mix it in with rice, this sumac will brighten up your dish with a mouth watering flavor similar to lemon. Sprinkle liberally on a bowl of hummus for authentic color and taste.
